Budgeting the old fashion way has been a thorn in humanities side for way too long. It's a horrible experience that no one enjoys, is not user friendly, motivating, inspiring, or effective. In today's day and age, whoever is pushing budgeting may as well tell people to shave with a pair of tweezers. Just look at how many have given up on being financially responsible, just to avoid budgeting. The proof is in the pudding.
